Harry Is Back On Board!
Harry Mason began his competitive diving career in 2010. With many competitions under his belt and a plethora of medals he unfortunately had to retire in 2018 due to injury. At the age of twenty-four and a five year absence Harry could no could no longer ignore the yearning to compete again. Last weekend he travelled to Southend to take part in the Great Britain Diving Federation Spring Masters where he represented Plymouth Diving. His opening event on the 1m springboard could not have gone better. After a consistent round of well executed dives there was only one possible outcome which was to finish at the top of the podium to win the gold medal. This calm and unswerving approach continued onto the 3m springboard event where he finished with the silver medal.
Harry is a coach at the Plymouth Life Centre and is responsible for the progress of the Development Age Group and Mighty Mini Squad. Without doubt his performance will inspire his divers on to succeed.
